Why Aluminum and Heavy-Duty Are Driving the Change
Material is the reason. Aluminum is now common on passenger cars and heavy trucks alike, and it does not behave like the steel most of us learned on. It is unforgiving, and it does not like being forced. Glue pull repair works with the metal instead of fighting it, pulling from the outside so a technician never has to remove material or disturb the backside of the panel. That opens up cab corners, quarter panels, and large aluminum sections that would otherwise be replacement jobs.

White described tower capability built for heavy-duty work rated at 1,200 pounds of pull, eight feet in the air, so a technician can reach cab backs and upper structures without repositioning the truck. Linking multiple tabs together distributes the force and lifts the section as a single unit, letting the metal return to shape in a controlled way. Modular tooling means the setup adapts to the vehicle instead of the other way around, which keeps fleet and commercial repairs in-house rather than outsourced.
